The Seine is a French river which runs through the city of Paris. It is a notably long river (776.6 kilometers) which rises to 471 meters above sea level on the plateau of Langres to Dijon. It runs through the regions of Burgundy, Champagne Ardenne, Île-de-France and Haute-Normandie, then onwards into the English Channel. The river is navigable: in Paris the tourist river boats on the Seine allow tourists to visit the capital. The banks of the Seine river offer great panoramas, in Paris of course, but also in other regions, espacially in Normandy. Book without further delay a charming hotel on the banks of the Seine!
