The Loire and its Castles, an unmissable region when it comes about visiting France !

The Loire is the longest river in France, being sourced at Mont Gerbier de Jonc in the département of Ardèche, and flowing all the way into the Atlantic Ocean. The river flows through many cities such as Saint-Étienne, Orléans and Tours. Jules Romains said, "Loire, which was the boulevard of kings, became a gallery of masterpieces", in reference to the Loire Valley, which is home to 21 castles, making it a particularly significant area for French tourism.
