Our hotels, restaurants & villas with a view on the Loire river

The Loire and its castles: a magnificent region to visit in any season, but especially in spring, when the gardens of the castles are decorated with multicoloured flowers...

The Loire is the longest river in France, being sourced at Mont Gerbier de Jonc in the département of Ardèche, and flowing all the way into the Atlantic Ocean. The river flows through many cities such as Saint-Étienne, Orléans and Tours. Jules Romains said, "Loire, which was the boulevard of kings, became a gallery of masterpieces", in reference to the Chateaux of the Loire Valley, whith 21 castles, making it a particularly significant area for French tourism.
