The Arc de Triomphe is located in the center of Place de l’Étoile at the top of the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Built in the early 19th century, it features sculptures of the Napoleonic era. The tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located underneath the arc. Visitors can climb to the viewing platform on top for a look at Paris and la Défense. Two information plaques are on site, and more history of the Arc is available at the museum.
