On the shores of Lake Maggiore, not far from the famous Borromean Islands, you will discover the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days in.
The small town of Stresa offers enchanting landscapes, only a few minutes away from the splendid Isola Madre palaces and Isola Bella, which have gardens full of parrots, peacocks and pheasants.

Nature lovers should visit the Villa Pallavicino Park, which covers 15 hectares of land and is home to greenhouses in which hundreds of rare plants are grown. Centenary trees, such as redwoods, larches and magnolias can be seen along the 7 kilometre trail through which you will come across kangaroos, zebras, monkeys and llamas. Aviaries are home to exotic birds such as toucans, owls, and parrots. There is also a lovely little lake with water turtles, flamingos and swans.
Mountain enthusiasts can take the funicular, which within 20 minutes will take them to Mount Mottarone, where they can admire the views of the 7 lakes, and meet the other trekking and mountain biking enthusiasts.
