The Cap de Castel is located in Puylaurens, a medieval village perched on the "Balcony of the Pyrenees" enjoying the most beautiful views of the Tarn. This charming residence of character was built in the enclosure of a Cathar castel and includes 3 buildings from the 13th to 18th century. The Maison Cocagne, set up in an old distillery, is the main building of the hotel with windows overlooking the peaceful village square or the interior garden. The Maison Lauragais offers a panoramic view of the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire; the 13th century castel hides behind its high facades a panoramic terrace with swimming pool and zen space. The 10 rooms and suites of this hotel all offer a different decoration: old floor tiles or walnut parquet floors, original materials and fireplaces, thick stone or lime plastered walls and high ceilings with exposed frames alongside trendy furniture. In the evening, the restaurant Entre Ciel et Terre offers a refined cuisine with local flavours, to be enjoyed in the dining room by the beautiful fireplace or on the terrace on sunny days to admire the superb panorama over the mountains.
